I am an illustrator currently based out of San Diego, CA. My specialty is photorealism and highly-rendered surreal art, with an emphasis on astronomical subject matter.
My art career can be traced back to winning a school-wide art competition in 2nd grade. I was encouraged to pursue my art and I began oil painting lessons at the age of 8. Oil is still one of my most beloved mediums, but I have dabbled in just about everything. My repertoire includes resin art, ceramics, metal art, 3D modeling, scratchboard, jewelry making, and photography, to name a few. Currently, most of my work tends to be digital, purely for the sake of convenience. All my digital work is created in Adobe Photoshop using an Intuos tablet or in Procreate on iPad Pro.
I received my BFA in Visual Communication: Illustration Emphasis, and a minor in astronomy from the University of Arizona in 2018. I love to incorporate my love of astronomy into my illustrations, and much of my work reflects that. I have worked as a graphic designer at Lisa Frank, a framer at Michaels, an artist assistant, and a print shop intern, among others. Most recently, I opened a small business creating bespoke resin dice for tabletop gaming called Dark Nebula Dice. I've pretty much done a little bit of everything, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
