Senior Project Illustration 1: "Brian May 1"
For my senior capstone project, I found a number of astronomy magazines and illustrated articles from them. The page formatting is not mine and all rights for the articles belong to the respective magazines; this was simply an exercise in working with existing page layouts and building up my editorial portfolio.
In September 2012, Astronomy Magazine ran an interview with Queen guitarist Brian May. Oddly enough, the interview didn't make the cover of the issue, so I created a mock-up of the cover with a digital painting of May as the focus.
