Senior Project Illustration 10: "How to grow a universe"
For my senior capstone project, I found a number of astronomy magazines and illustrated articles from them. The page formatting is not mine and all rights for the articles belong to the respective magazines; this was simply an exercise in working with existing page layouts and building up my editorial portfolio.
The article is from a September 2012 Astronomy Magazine article titled "Quest for the most distant objects," but it was the section header "How to grow a universe" that gave me the idea for the illustration.
