Senior Project Illustration 4: "Phoebe Haas 2"
For my senior capstone project, I found a number of astronomy magazines and illustrated articles from them. The page formatting is not mine and all rights for the articles belong to the respective magazines; this was simply an exercise in working with existing page layouts and building up my editorial portfolio.
This illustration corresponds to an August 2018 Air & Space Magazine article about Phoebe Waterman Haas, one of the few female astronomers in the early 20th century. This is a half-page spot illustration to accompany the article.
